Hello, my name is Yvonne and a very warm welcome to Abbeycrafts.
Having taken early retirement from SEN teaching , I relocated from the Midlands to the far north east coast of Scotland, Caithness. The stunning scenery, amazing wildlife and beautiful colours of nature provide the inspiration for many of my hand painted pieces. This is truly a wonderful part of the world to live and very much worth a visit. I do venture home as often as possible to visit my sons and my simply gorgeous grandson , Joel.
Painting glasses started as a hobby - creating gifts for friends and familiy , when that personalised touch was required. The passion grew and I am immemsely proud of where Abbeycrafts is now and what the future holds. Lots of developments in the pipeline !
I pride myself that each & every piece is handpainted - not mass or digitally produced. This makes each piece utterly unique, creating that truly special gift painted with love.Whilst some designs may be in stock , I do paint to order. I aim to post items within 7 days from the request being placed. However, times may vary but, I know how much customers value handpainted.
There is also the opportunity for you to create your own designs. Simply message Abbeycrafts and together, through discussions, we can design that bespoke gift; bringing your creative ideas to life.
If there is a specific date when an item is required then, please contact us when placing your order and that extra effort will be made to complete everything for you.
Prices for all our pieces , including commissions & bespoke items will vary according to the design/artwork involved. We are also able to personalise one of our designs thereby, making it unique to the individual.
